Where do we start...

Jackie was recommended to us by a good friend in 2015. Our family was growing and we were looking for an upgrade; looking for our forever home. Janet had purchased the home we were living in 8 years earlier with the help of her parents. There was a lot of sentimental value in our home. The whole process of selling this home was an emotional and stressful roller coaster due to the attachment. After we sold our home we were faced with obstacles that put buying our forever home on hold. We rented for 3 years and during this time she helped keep us in check and making sure that we didn’t lose sight of the our end goal. After what seemed an eternity and in the middle of a pandemic it was our time! We had given Jackie our wish list from the minimum to maximum of what we wanted in a home. Although we knew that was not the case. She returned all phone calls, text, and emails the same day. We never felt neglected or unimportant. She was also highly personable with an engaging personality. Jackie was honest about our negotiations we took with the sellers.

Partnering close with our lender, she made sure our best foot was put forward when offers were presented. If counteroffers were returned, she was clear and concise with negotiations on our behalf. When our offer was accepted, she was exceptionally detailed with explaining the mountains of paperwork which is the escrow process. Attending the Disney First-Time Homebuyer seminar was the best decision we ever made. Jackie Garibay, Paul Kott Realtors and the Julie Miller Team made buying our first, fun and easy. We cannot thank Jackie enough for helping us find our new home.

When we decided to buy our first home, we started out by blindly looking up home listings and attending open houses. Our experience was like a series of bad dates. The realtors we encountered were all interested in selling us a home but were not interested in taking the time to get to know us to find out what we wanted or what was best for our situation. My wife is a Disney cast member and noticed an ad in the Disney newsletter. We decided to attend the first-time homebuyer seminar. The seminar prepared us for what it would really take to buy a home and what to expect along the way.
